Sofas & chairs
Upholstery Cleaning in Stratford, ON
Fabric and leather sofas, sectionals, recliners, dining chairs and mattresses cleaned in your home, with the method chosen to suit the material instead of soaking everything the same way.

Fresh Fabric Without Soaking the Cushions
A sofa gets more daily contact than almost anything else in the house. Hands, hair, skin oils, snacks, the dog, the kids, the guest who spilled red wine at Christmas: it all ends up in the fabric, and most of it can't be vacuumed out. Over time the arms and headrests darken, the seat cushions go dull, and the whole piece starts to smell faintly like the people who use it.
Upholstery needs a lighter touch than carpet. Too much water can leave rings, bleed dyes, or soak into foam and take days to dry. So we start by reading the care tag and testing a hidden spot, then choose the gentlest method that will get the fabric clean. Call +1 226-540-1084 or send the form to book a piece or a whole room.
Signs a Sofa Needs More Than a Vacuum
- Dark arms and headrests. Where hands and heads rest every day.
- A shiny or greasy look. Body oils build up on the seat and back cushions.
- Lingering smells. Pets, cooking or smoke caught in the fabric and padding.
- Old spills that never quite left. Spot-cleaned once, now a faint ring.
- Allergy season feels worse indoors. Dust and dander settle into upholstery.

Fabric Tags, Leather and Mattresses
Most upholstered furniture has a small tag under a cushion or on the frame with a cleaning code. It tells us how the maker expects the fabric to be cleaned.
W means water-based cleaning is fine. Most cotton blends and many synthetics fall here, and they clean up well with a careful low-moisture extraction.
S means solvent-based cleaning only. Water can leave rings or shrink these fabrics, so we use a dry solvent method instead.
W/S means either is acceptable. We pick based on how soiled the piece is.
X means vacuum only. No liquid cleaning at all. We'll tell you that honestly instead of risking your furniture.
No tag? We test first and go gently.
Leather. Leather isn't cleaned with water and extraction at all. We wipe it down with a pH-balanced leather cleaner, work soil out of the grain and seams with a soft brush, then finish with a conditioner so it stays supple instead of drying and cracking. Suede and nubuck get their own dry methods; tell us which you have when you book.
Mattresses. A mattress collects skin cells, sweat and dust mites for years, and most never get cleaned. We vacuum both sides with a high-suction tool, treat stains (including the ones children and pets leave), then use a low-moisture clean so the mattress is dry enough to sleep on the same night in most cases.

What Makes Our Upholstery Work Different
The Tag Comes First
We don't guess. The cleaning code decides the method, and a hidden-spot test confirms it.
Less Water, Faster Dry
Low-moisture cleaning gets the fabric clean without soaking the foam underneath.
Honest About Limits
Some old stains and sun fading won't come out. We tell you that up front.

Upholstery Cleaning Questions
Will cleaning fade or shrink the fabric?
Not when the right method is used. That's why we read the cleaning code and test a hidden spot first. Fabrics that can't take water are cleaned with a dry solvent method instead.
Can you clean microfibre?
Yes. Most microfibre is coded S or W/S and cleans up well with the right approach. It can look patchy if it dries unevenly, so we groom the nap carefully after cleaning.
Do you clean leather furniture and mattresses?
Yes, both. Leather gets a dedicated cleaner and a conditioner rather than water extraction. Mattresses are vacuumed, stain-treated and given a low-moisture clean so they dry quickly.
How long until we can sit on it?
Usually a few hours, depending on the fabric and the room. Good airflow helps, and we stand cushions on edge so they dry evenly.
